Every fourth of july we gather friends and family around the fire pit on our deck to watch the spectacular fireworks show over the water.
The fireworks are launched from the Yachats State Park just south of us.
When Lynn and I were still with the Fire Department, we would usually be stationed at the edge of park for security and medical emergencies.
